Release of Rick Gallop's Express G.I. Diet
A common complaint we hear here at the GI Diet Guide is that healthy eating take too long and with modern hectic lifestyles it is just not practical to cook a low GI meal every night.
Well Rick Gallop aims to tackle that complaint head on in his new book Express GI Diet for Busy People.
The book includes 50 new recipes that can be made in “super-quick” time.
Readers of his previous books will be pleased to hear that he continues the simple traffic-light system used in his other books.
From green for foods that should be generously included in your diet to red for foods that should be eaten in small quantities or avoided all together.
Rick Gallop is a graduate of Oxford University, and joined the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario as president and CEO in 1986.
He developed the G.I. Diet, based on research by professor of nutrition Dr David Jenkins, and out of his own struggles to lose weight.
